“All it needs is a lick of paint….”

Posted by Marilyn on September 25, 2007

Prince Charles recently came upon a treasure from the past, when he was shown a Land Rover that used to belong to his grandfather, King George VI. Bought in 1966 by garage owner Robert Pringle, the car has been in storage for 40 years, surrounded by other unfinished DIY projects.

“We are planning to do it up. It is a beautiful car and it still runs well.”  says Mr. Pringle.

His wife could not be reached for comment but mysterious laughter could be heard in the distance.
